Ever since I left for college my clothing storage has been the following: dorm dresser, Rubbermaid containers, clothes baskets, decorative baskets, and yes, even Wal-Mart bags at times. Matt had a baby dresser up until the time we donated it to Goodwill before our last move. So, what a blessing to have real grown-up furniture that didn’t come from Ikea.
We are thoroughly pleased with the arrival of our furniture. The delivery went smoothly…Matt really liked the delivery men, who were quite funny and professional, very focused on customer service, a rarity these days. When cleaning the drawers before stocking them, I noticed the drawers on our dresser and chest have English dovetail construction, not the French dovetail like the showroom model. How strange is that? We are actually pleased that the delivered product is made with English dovetails, but being who we are, we are a little curious as to why they are different.
