After much deliberation, we made a decision on which bedroom furniture to order. We measured everything to make sure it would fit, and took advantage of the Memorial Day sales and ordered from the Postobello Home Collection made by Drexel Heritage. Unfortunately, we chose furniture from a recently introduced line, so we spent a little more money than we would have liked, but we both think we will be really happy with the results. Since we are not looking at this as a short term purchase, investing a little more money into something we like seemed worth it. With the discounts we saved 10% with free delivery and setup, which seemed like the best deal we were going to find.* The expected delivery date is June 30th, sooner than we expected, but still gives us enough time to paint the master bedroom before the furniture arrives! If you want to take advantage of discounts during these weekends without dealing with the crowds, be sure to make quick friends with a sales associate. They want to earn commission dollars, whether it’s full price or 10% off. Find what you like, then ask if they are having any upcoming sales. You might be given the discount immediately. In our case, we were able to fax in the order during the time of the sale. At another store, the sales associate was willing to let us purchase pieces of the bedroom set separately, as they went on sale.
